Bleu Azul, formely La Puesta Del Sol, is a charming villa on a magnificent beach-front estate in Esterillos Este, Costa Rica. Situated between the towns of Jaco with it's boutiques and restos to the north and the fishing village of Quepos and Manuel Antonio national park to the south.

Our four studio apartments, "Azul", "Turquesa", "Rosa" and "Lila" provide spectacular views of the ocean and magnificent sunsets. Each have a fully equipped kitchenette, dining area and bathroom. Some of the studio apartments can accomodate 3 people. Bedding, bathrobes, beach towels and maid service are also provided. The ground floor suite, "Naranja" is also available for 3-4 adults and includes 2 bedrooms, a spacious living room, fully equiped kitchen and exquisite terrace with ocean vue. On the shores of the Pacific, 26 kilometers of pristine and nearly deserted beach awaits you. This wonderous oceanside playground offers sports such as surfing, horse-back riding, fishing and swimming, or simply relax under the shade of the swaying palm trees and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Lulled by the sound of the waves and caressed by the ocean breeze, surrounded by tropical gardens and coconut trees, all our guest are welcome to share our outdoor dining gazebo. It's our communal area for you to repare and enjoy some truly memorable meals as well as get a chance to meet some of our other Costa Rican travellers.

Who hasn't dreamt of enjoying a soothing massage to the sound of the ocean waves, to be pampered, to relax and replenish after a long day of surfing, shopping, hiking or snoozing under a palm tree. Enjoy the expert hands of Telcy, our in-house costa rican masseuse inside our white veiled gazebo on the edge of the estate overlooking the beach.

Passion, perfection and professionnalism are the trademarks of our internationaly trained chef Gustavo Salazar. While we set the table directly on the beach, Gustavo will prepare a selection of refined and wonderful dishes. You have only to sit and be served, by candlelight, under a canopy of stars, or if your timing is just right, a brilliant full moon.

• We are located about two and a half hours from San José by car.
• A taxi from the airport cost approximately 80$ US. Best if we book it for you since our drivers know our location well.
• Jaco is a popular tourist village located about 30 kms north. There you can purchase souvenirs and local clothing. There are some pleasant restaurants, plenty of shopping boutiques as well as an american style grocery store, pastry shops, liquor stores and several banks. On Fridays, an outdoor fruit and vegetable market.
• Parritas is a typical costa rican village about 20 kilometers south. Here you can find several grocery stores, a fish market, pastery shop, liquor store and banks.
• We reccomend you purchase a book on Costa Rica, there is just so much to see and do. And much of it nearby.
